I say don't do them unless the recipient proactively signs up for them.
But, yes, don't spam people. It is ignorant and classless.

I'm mainly looking for a more complete client/lead tracking integration. I have too many leads to keep up with, so after a couple days/week, I lose sight of them.

I am looking into Top Producer now, but am hesitant to commit to a one year term. I'd prefer something I can try out for a month or two to get comfortable with..

any other options anyone can throw out?

EDIT* also doing more research on davebarnes recommendation of MarketCircle. very interesting, and I do appreciate the apparent Mac based design. No real estate specific input though.

I use wiseagent.com, very similar to Top Producer at half the price. It's all online. If you go with wiseagent do me a favor and list me as referring you to it.
