Umm, isn't it supposed to work the other way around? In most industries you send your clients/customers gifts thanking them for their patronage. You don't send your vendors gifts thanking them for the privilege of paying them for services/goods.
Good point jinxor! I'm sending a thank you basket to my mortgage broker and my agent because they had to deal with some craziness and really work hard at the last minute to get my house sold and the new one bought. However, if I were still in the process of selling I would probably include her on the holiday card list I write every year and forget to mail.

As I said, we should all give little "gifts" to our agents during the holidays.
Many are starving literally, per the slow market. In that case, perhaps a lovely
Krokus ham would be in order.

I don't think buying someone a ham counts as a little gift... that looks expensive! Considering a lot of people are covering two mortgages until their agents get their houses sold, they probably don't have the money to do that.
I think something small like a gas card or a Starbucks gift card would be nice. Just to say "hey, I know you are working hard for us...take a small break and have a coffee on us." But, that is just me. I would also expect at least a card form my agent saying Happy Holidays
Are you purchasing any little gifts for your real estate agent? Please do not forget them this holiday season!
Are you worried they are not going to get enough gifts during the season or what???
