Can anyone tell me what material you used to help you study for the STATE part of the Exam? I received a study book called RE Exam Prep (3rd edition) by Deerborn from Austin Institute of RE (its a book with 200 questions and answer key) but seems like nothing in the book is actually on the test. Need help!!! Thanks!

The book you have OP is for exam prep for a real estate sales associate license. Your state licensing website should be able to tell you the education requirements for the PSI (I don't even know what that is) and schools that are approved to teach the required course.

here's your state info for re sales if thats what you're going for TREC - How to Become a Real Estate Salesperson looks like 60 hours required. Partway down the page is a link for courses.

I'm in Fl and did all mine coursework online using realestateexpress.com cheaper but same thing, not too much there actually on the test, or I should say, test questions are not formulated like study questions, they do that so you can't memorize. You have to really internalize the material. Anyway, for exam prep I used this program and it was worth every penny Texas Real Estate Sales CompuCram® Exam Prep Software

for florida of course

I would tell you to quit now. The National Exam is exceptionally easy - to the point that you should not sell real-estate if you can't pass it on the first try.

Go work for a new home builder as a salesperson and see if you still want to be a realtor later. If you can not pass the national portion on the first try I have serious questions as to your ability to properly fill in a contract and be able to advise your clients.

That sounds rude, but its not intended to be rude, its intended to be just the truth.
