Our realtor gave us a lowes gift card which was very much appreciated.

We also gave her a gift card to a nice restaurant she likes with a note joking that she and her honey should enjoy a nice date night on us for all the weekends she missed out on due to our purchase. (and yes I know it's her job, but her hard work was really appreciated)

LOL I posted this on my FB page and it's like winning the lottery. No shortage of friends willing to make the "sacrifice". My brother is an assistant golf professional. I told him he was in and he didn't make a coherent word for about 5 minutes.

Just a precaution, when you give a gift please keep in mind the client. After my brother closed on a house, his realtor got him a bottle of wine for celebration. But we are Muslim and we don't drink. It was bit awkward

I offer my buyers a housewarming party. They get to meet the neighbors...and so do I! Cost about $300.

Wow! Talk about not knowing anything about your clients.

My agent stiffed me on a repair she promised to cover as part of the house inspection. She also left a pot of daisies on the front porch when I was at work and by the time I got home the deer had eaten them to the ground.

Remember, it's the thought that counts...and she must have thought that the deer would enjoy those tasty morsels!

I would gift out something too as a gift. It need not be to have a huge monetary value but something that the client love to have or do. What will that be will depend on the bonding that you created with the client during the whole process. At the end of the day, most client will be happy to know that you care for him and work extra mile to provide the best service possible.
