I agree with you if we're talking about a homogeneous area of similar homes that sell in a fairly well defined price range already. The range of prices received by the OP suggests that his home may not be cookie-cutter enough for a no-view cma.
Plus, how is the seller going to sign the listing agreement if you don't show up in person with it in hand?
