It's ok I am just worn out and thought maybe I wasn't seeing things correctly . I hoped that was what you meant .

10 days and she didn't get back to you? I expect to be fired if I don't respond in 10 minutes.. Only thing worse than a bad buyers agent is using the listing agent.

Wow, hasn't returned a message in 10 days? Unacceptable. Hire a different agent.

No and it's noon out here now and she did text my husband back on Friday that she had a "family emergency " and would be back today . I have NEVER had this happen , we are easy to get along with and always have a good time .

Wild times sometimes when the houses are just crazy looking or once a tenant came to the door with a LOADED SHOTGUN pointed at us and told us to go away now - we did . The realtor got on the phone asap to her boss NOT to send anyone out there - but we were laughing as everyone was ok . Then the old funeral home an older man realtor tried to sell me as a 5 bd house complete with DEER CLEANING EQIP in it . If I am looking at property I am not tire kicking .

I think I have found one who seems excited about helping us.

Ah the joys of rural property on a budget ………..

Well I guess this was just not meant to be . An approval letter and everything. Cannot get one person to help me or call back . I may just be destined to be a renter and didn't know it . The last 14 have not been too bad, I even got my security deposit back on this last apt . The realtors say they will call back have alllllllllll these places to see , I Even see them all in my price range and not one person follows back . Nothing I can do but look somewhere else .

Did you go on any local Facebook groups and ask for recommendations for good buyer’s agents? I can’t imagine a world where there aren’t hungry buyer’s agents who want your business!

So what is bad about using a buyer's agent vs. just contacting listing agents? I've tried contacting listing agents and have never gotten a call back.

Nothing is bad about using a buyer's agent.

You've listed one of the things that is bad about using listing agents: Most don't actually want to show you listings.

Rural CA property is a weird animal. You would THINK that it would be a simple process - it’s not. Particularly if you’re an “outsider”.

Well there were a couple of remarks here about preferring to avoid using buyer's agents so perhaps someone who said that will explain...
