I think it matters on the clients. With the price of gasoline, I always offer to drive. About 90% drive with me, but there are always those who prefer to drive. It is easier to do my job if they drive with me. That way we can keep the list narrowed down through our discussions, so it is not so overwhelming at the end of the day.

Wow, I am a Realtor in NJ - I always try to drive with my clients (or drive them)! I have many that prefer to meet me at the house, but I like the "getting to know you" and "let's talk about the house" time that driving together allows. I'm actually picking my clients up at their home tomorrow!

I always tell my buyers to pick me up at the bar.

That way I am ready to go when they get there and the idle chit chat doesn't bother me as much.

I'm with you on this one. It's our time to get to know each other and me to educate them on the market and many times the contracts & process of making offers & inspections.

Now if they have a screaming kid then I usually encourage them to follow me.
