The banks as you all know try to cut us out as much as possible even though we have to do 10x more work. I was happy to learn that NAR went to bat for us.

This should give all realtors a warm fuzzy and after the groups hugs, chants of "yes we can" and a helping of Smores....the reality will set in:

The NAR is a paper lion when it comes to negociating with big banks (and tiny ones).
I highly doubt you will have a winner-winner-chicken-dinner.
More like Swansons TV dinner for realtors on this source of income.

Fannie & FHA have come out with notices to servicers about pre-foreclosure slicing and dicing of sales commissions.

I am not sure how, or even if, NAR got involved. They usually don't care what (how much) we are paid, since there are multiple business models with various payment methods.
