I am looking to rent out my mixed use property
I met with a "management" person
It did not go well
Can anyone give me advice as .. how to handle this
I am concerned that I get quality tenants to protect my neighbors and property.
I also want my tenants need met fairly and quickly.
Not looking to get rich .. just have not been able to sell.
One sellers agent I had used in the past .. in a social situation .. told me .. "I steer people away from (that type) of property"

I guess my questions should be ..
How do I find a good management person / group?
What should I expect in the contract?

That is what I want ..
Having not done this before I am looking for advise as to what to expect and how the contracts work

The person (a professional) I dealt with last week did some things I felt were shady ..

I just got off the phone with some one who called me .. they were phishing for inventory.
They did not know which property and insisted they could sell my mixed use C2 property because of the $8000. tax credit ..
Even though there are at least 5 sale signs on this short strip of road.
I know if they had a buyer sitting in the office as we spoke it would be impossible to close in time.
That is IF this property falls under the guidelines, otherwise.

I want to be a good client for a good management company .. any advise

How about looking for rentals in our area like yours? Look at how the company advertises, ask for references.
