I like it also, and yes, thank you. It has been kind of fun figuring out whose threads were realtors or brokers just from the conversations. I do like it now that I am a senior member! How did I earn that? Where are the guidelines to all this? I just stumbled in one day, like everyone else, I'm sure. I do enjoy the politeness most people try to express, even when they disagree. I forget we are dealing with different states and if we identify sometimes this, it may help avoid confusion. Do we now have this category to clarify our own personal discussions? It's a good place to discuss real estate amongst ourselves, and not get so uptight when we don't have a meeting of the minds. I love the public's input because we as agents have to deal with this on a daily basis, and I don't think the general public has any idea how challenging it can be to conduct our business with dignity. The new thread on our photos on everything made me smile.....Thanks to all you Realtors for you input...I feel very connected to some of you...
ARELLO is the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials, comprising the official governmental agencies and other organizations around the world that issue real estate licenses/registrations in addition to regulating real estate practice and enforcing real estate law.
There are penalties for practicing real estate without a license. Contact your state Dept. of Real Estate (DRE) or Real Estate Commission (REC) asap.
In Florida, you must be licenses unless your are the builder or owner of the property.
I'm an Artist... can I have a pallet and paint brush for my icon.... but I retired as a Realtor, I'm still licensed so I can do referrals.... do I get two?
We now have a new user group for the Real Estate Agents. Joining this usergroup will change your user title to "Real Estate Agent" and you will have a small icon displayed next to your user name with all your posts. This will let all potential clients know that your are an agent, so they will know to contact you or see your profile/website without you having to advertise and mention it in your posts. None of your other account features will change.
Join this usergroup here. Alternatively, you can click on "My Settings" and "Group Memberships" and select "Join Group." Then make sure to select "Identify me as a member of this group" next to "Real Estate Agents" and "Update Display Group."
Administrator, I like the icon. Nothing wrong with standing out and being different.
