Default my realtor fired us!!!

i got a surprise email today from our realtor, that she was only doing our listing as a favor and we should find a new realtor that she's sending the cancellation agreement. what a mess!!

I'm sorry to say that maybe this is for the best. Maybe she wasn't pleased with your suggestions, but if I had had my house listed with an agent for more than 3 weeks with no one coming by, I'd be as concerned as you are. Now you have the opportunity to look for someone more proactive who realizes he/she is providing a service to you.

THanks, we found someone who actually sold the duplex on the street next to ours in 65 days. she has told us info and helped us in the 2 hours since we hired her that our agent never told us in the almost 4 weeks!! I was very happy so far! wish us luck this time around

thanks I am still a bit upset it was crazy how it worked out and she put it all on me. like it was my fault. but maybe it was for the better and hopefully we'll be in abetter place with this realtor!!! thanksguys for all the advice and everything

OK so now this is our latest problem our old realtor wont delete the MLS listing so our new realtor can list it! What should we do?

That same thing happened to me, except we fired our realtor. I threatened to call his managing broker, and that seemed to do the trick.
