I have a meeting with a property management company on the 29th and another on the 30th. It the meantime, we dropped the price by $5k to $149.9k. We'll see what happens. Thanks for all of your comments.
Good luck1 We are renting out one of our houses that we had no luck selling. The prop mgt company keeps 10% of the rent every month, and they got one month's rent for finding a suitable tenant. The monthly rent is $1100 while we are paying more like $1680 for mortgage, taxes and insurance. Still, that's $990 a month more than we had before, and we don't have to deal with the tenants directly. Having been a landlord before, I can say that it is frustrating when you are renting out a house you want to sell as a single family house and not a rental property. And as someone mentioned, there are lots of laws and regs related to landlord/tenant relations, and let's just say that most are in the tenant's favor...
