Sorry, I just have to tell someone! I'm so excited that I sold my house and am closing on my new one.
My house was on the market for 6 days; my realtor had an open house ~ we got an offer and it sold!
It was a company relocation but I got a bonus if we sold the house ourselves within 60 days. My realtor worked really hard to price it just right and it must have worked!
Little glitch came up and that was some mold in the attic and crawlspace that was found. Yes, that took a little chunk out of my selling price.
But I still got enough to make a nice down payment on my new house and I am just so happy!
No more showing; no keeping the house spotless 24/7 . . . . I'm done!
PS: Selling/buying a house these days is quite stressful.
Congratulations! What a good feeling! We just sold our home too and bought a new one (also a relocation). Let's hope the tide is changing and we start seeing more posts like yours soon!
Congratulations........Oh my, 6 days was stressful keeping up the house 24/7.......
Our rural area takes 6 to 12 months of that 24/7 model home keep up...
Send luck out to rural America please.......
Congratulations! It is nice to hear that you could sell your home so quickly. Let's hope this is the beginning of the upturn in our economy that we really need. Good luck in your new home.
