I just got my warranty deed with property description: Lot 11, Block 18, Mauch's Addition to the City of .....

How do I know it describes the real estate that I bought? I hadn't had the land surveyed before I bought it, can I have it surveyed now to determine the exact boundaries of my property?

Yes, you can have it surveyed now.

Yes, you can have your land surveyed. You can also check a plat of your neighborhood that the description was derived from. Is there something that makes your nervous about whether or not your deed is correct or are you just curious?

I'm just curious but I can't be sure if the legal description says about the real estate I purchased, there is no postal address on the deed. Could I ask the county to show me the plat map? I can't find the map online.

Yes, go the county recorder [or register] of deeds and ask them to show you the plat.

Some municipalities have city plats on their websites. That works too.

You can get it from the county, sometimes at the assessors office, sometimes at the county clerks.
Addresses are often not seen on the deed since they usually do not constitute legal description. Postal addresses change, (i.e. street names, revised numbering, going from rural route to 911 addresses, etc.) legal descriptions don't.
