I closed in october and I remember signing many copies of many forms, some tax related, which my attorney said she will give me later when her office has prepared the closing statements. I got the package and it was only a settlement statement, deed and bunch of checks. I remember signing many documents and none of it were included. I don't trust my attorney and I don't think I was careful enough in looking over all the documents that I signed that day. I am really worry.
What documents should the seller attorney give to the seller after closing? Can I demand that their office give me everything I signed on closing?
Another reason I'm glad we use title companies and not attorneys for closing. I recommend you call the attorney's office and ask for all documents.
