Zillow
Do any of you use or like Zillow - Real Estate Valuations, Homes for Sale, Free Real Estate Information I noticed only 1 of the local realtors here had been using zillow to advertise. When we put our house FSBO zillow was one of the sites we used. We emailed it to the local realtors to let them know (like they care) our house was on it for sale and now I see they are ALL using zillow! Ha ha! I couldn't believe it. We should at least get a "thank you" for that.

Zillow's value estimates can be wildly inaccurate and I think more and more people are becoming aware of that.
As a buyer, I wouldn't even bother looking on Zillow but would use the local MLS instead (and get myself a good buyer's agent).
As a seller, I wouldn't want my home listed on Zillow.
There are a lot of things I don't like about their system.

So you are the reason zillow became so popular.
Who would have thunk it?
Zillow is in my estimation pretty much worthless.
Every once in a while they will come up with their zestimate that is close but for the most part they are way off.

In these parts..yes! I am not kidding about that. I do know the zestimates are almost always wrong but it's nice to look at properties for sale in the local area on a map rather than a list format.

The zillow numbers for our neighborhood are way too low for houses that haven't sold recently. Our house is probably $40-50k too low.

That is a nice feature to be able to see it on the aerial.
I do use it sometimes for that.

I don't think their zestimates are correct but I use Zillow for locating homes and for the sales history of homes. That's rather interesting.

Some properties on zillow seem ok, but others are completly wrong. I checked out a house I sold a couple of months ago for $300,000, and zillow says it's worth $225k, and I kind of felt that I gave the house away because the owner wanted a quick sale.
