i think 2 or 3 plus the inspection although the last house i sold they made an offer after a 30 minute visit. i just had an offer on the house i have up for sale now after 1 visit-not an acceptable offer-they came back a 2nd time and went up-still not acceptable but we are in talks.

its a big decision but as a seller i think anymore than looking 3x without a contract would be annoying. 3 houses ago we settled on an offer after their first visit but after the signed contract they came several times to show family,measure, etc-i didnt care because i understand how exciting it can be-

If you think you found the house, you look at it as many times as you need to.

Chances are, this is the most expensive purchase you will make in your lifetime (so far). Treat it as such.

we looked at ours twice and then once more during inspection. Our parents came with is for the second visit so we had lots of eyes looking at everything!!
