I had a crack house across the street from me once. Ya, good times. It was rental and we didn't know the people well. They had just moved in, kept to themselves and they had small children. Then people started showing up at the house and leaving quickly. It was pretty obvious our new neighbors were drug dealers. If the people showing up at your neighbors house look shady then you have your answer.
Meth heads look rough and so do crackheads. Its obvious. They could be selling weed. They would get all walks of life in that were the case. Or like the others have suggested it could be a legit home based business of some sort.
If they're not bothering anyone, mind your own business.

anything I hate more are nosy neighborhs poking their nose where it don't belong.
leave them alone.
Leave them alone until one of their cranked up meth customers runs over a neighborhood kid?
Leave them alone until there is a dispute about money and someone starts shooting?
How about you leave drug dealers alone in your neighborhood and those of us that choose to live around law abiding citizens, actually do something about drug dealers.
It is usually easy enough to tell the difference between a legit home based business and a drug dealers house.
It seems to me that everyone is EXTREMELY quick to jump to the conclusion that they are drug dealers. With the information that was provided by the OP it could be a thousand different scenarios but everyone is quick to assume the worst case scenario?
What ever happened to giving people the benefit of the doubt and INNOCENT until proven guilty?
If there is obvious evidence there is drug dealing going on, I'd call the police. If nothing is clear cut, leave it alone. There is a big difference between someone selling weed and dealing coke or meth, though. I'm positive the neighbors who used to live across from us were selling weed, but they never caused problems so I never concerned myself with them.

The OP mentioned meth is an issue in his area. I don't think its unusual for someone to show concern when something seems suspicious.
May be they are looking to hire a contractor for the remodelling of their house. The contractors usually come to see the inside to provide the estimate. Poor dog, anyway.
