I assume (and you know what they say happens when you assume) MaseMan was talking about using cash sitting in your checking or savings account instead of charging something to a personal or store credit card.

I mean I have a debit card, I have no credit card whatsoever, but I can't just go to a furniture store one day and drop $1800 and expect the Bank not to raise a stink about it. This is my first time buying a home, so I'm going by the book and what they tell me.
