I finally got a reply email back about the Muskogee home...it sold a month ago. Cash.
I wouldn't put too much stock in Zillow, it is a 3rd party website with inaccurate information that is not updated, thus unreliable. Zillow is mostly used for informational purposes. If you go on the listed agents website for this Muskogee home, you will notice that the home is not even in his listings/website, but seems to be active in Zillow. The fact that is does not have an address is another reason not to even bother with it, nice house though.
That first house you have there, in one of the pictures there's a gnarly old tree that looks like a hand reaching out of the ground to grab the house, LOL...but the house itself is awesome! The second house too, you don't see that style very often...what are your thoughts on the neighborhood (if you know that area)?
Both of those houses are located in Manistee, MI, the Victorian City. Small town with about 7,000 people, right on Lake Michigan. Poplulation swells in the summer, when the summer residents arrive. There are 3 public beaches, and the houses are located an easy bike ride to the beach. Downtown Manistee still has the victorian charm. In fact at Christmas time they celebrate the lighting of the trees with horse drawn sleds (from the lumber days) bringing in the large Christmas trees. Towns people are dressed in victorian clothing, a very family orientated night. There is a hospital, shopping is somewhat limited, schools have a very good reputation. For recreation you have Lake Michigan, boating, fishing, skiing, downhill nearby at Crystal Mt., and the Manistee Nat'l forest surrounds the town.
Oh, that house in Cheboygan is right next to the local college...and the schools aren't real big on anything but football...what a shame, that house is awesome...
