Greenspan was just on the Today show, Matt asked him this exact question and he said "no, not yet" and he doesn't see one soon. He said the economy is too strong at this point to indicate a recession is looming.

Wall Street Journal has article today indicating that economies problems are deeper than most realize and that optimism about the benefits of a rate cut is really just blind hope.

I have to agree with the article. R/E as we know it is floundering. Only so many people can lose their homes (and jobs) before it creates a ripple effect.
