Is Model/Inventory Homes have special homestead in appraisal value or taxable value in Texas?
Or City or County is providing any additional tax tax deductions for these homes? If yes what rate.
How long a Inventory home can keep like this and save the tax.

Never heard of any special homestead .But rates and homestead plus over 65 can vary by county and even city. You need to cheack spcifically by county ;city and what taxing district there are to determine tax rate and exceptons such as homestead.

http://www.window.state.tx.us/taxinf...rms/96-329.pdf there is no word about special homestead in appraisal value or taxable value for model/inventory homes.
You can call the appropriate Appraisal District and ask them directly.

Not that I've ever heard of. Why would the state/county give you a break for buying a model house? The builder will give you a better deal but that's it.

I also checked that. In a informal protest meeting, for unequal appraisal, I compaired my home with a model/inventory home, that built 6 years before. The appraisal officer told me its a inventory home, they have some special permisions. I asked from where? City/County/State? Didn't get any answer. Now my protest moved to ARB.
