I am not a realtor, but if I was this would be one of those situations where I'd be firing my client. There is no logic for a contract for a house that isn't for sale with a high maintenance client.

Based on the time spent on this forum, can you imagine how much time an agent would have to spend if this house ever actually was for sale? I encourage the OP to hand a printout of this thread to any potential realtor as "fair warning" of what they're dealing with if she ever decides to sell.

High maintenance! LOL! I haven't even communicated with them for 2 years!! This was a very brief contact! One meeting and then they sent a second partner out the next day who had a buyer and when she realized I was not kidding, that we didn't want the house on the market - it was very cordial - it was OVER.

So, what are you talking about when you say "high maintenance". Please show me the evidence.

So many people need to put their own projected ideas of who I am simply because I lodged a complaint on this forum.
