Besides Craigslist
Hi there
I am looking to rent another proeprty we have. I have posted on craigslist and also advertising in the local rag and put a notice in the window.
I have gotten more calls from the ad in the window.
What other websites are available for rental properties in the Long Island, NY area.

Did you put it in the city paper? Also "thebackpage.com" is another site to look at.

Do a google and yahoo search for "rentals in Long Island NY". See what sites come up on the first page. That will probably tell you where to advertise. They get the most hits. Go for the free ones before you have to pay.
Backpage is becoming popular, especially in urban areas.

I used this great site called postlets.com for my home, it is also for rentals I believe. The advertise all over for you, you make one ad and it is generated all over and you can copy paste into craigslist also, I think it is great!!!

Try Kijiji United States: free local Classifieds Ads and Want Ads for Housing, Apartments, Furniture, Personals, Vacation Homes, Pets, Jobs, Resumes, Cars, Services, Events, Appliances, Discussions and more. or maybe some local businesses would be willing to add your rental to their web site for a small fee. |
