LOOK, DON'T TOUCH.
Why should something that simple be left for an inspection?!! That comes only after a contract is negotiated back and forth between seller and buyer, several thousand dollars of earnest money is put down, and several hundred dollars is paid for an inspection. Meanwhile other houses that the buyer may have also been considering could have been snatched up by other buyers, or if it was a cross country house hunting trip, the buyer has already returned to his home state.

Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to test simple things, like flushing toilets, opening and closing windows, checking HVAC, etc, BEFORE bothering to make an offer??? You seriously think having someone flush your precious toilet is more inconvenient to you, than forcing a person to go through contract, earnest money, and home inspection unnecessarily???

Yes, because I want the full "vibe" of the place! LOL.

FWIW, I went to a few open houses yesterday and really needed to go by the time I got to the last house.
I held it and drove home! ( 1/2 hour drive! )
