You have until Nov 6th until the contract with your current realtor expires. So you cannot list with another realtor or sell yourself UNLESS the current realtor releases you from the contract.

So you probably should contact the realtor and ask for a written release from the listing contract. Maybe a realtor on this board can give a tip on how you do this.

Your other options are to stay unlisted until Nov 6, then re-list with another realtor. Or have your agent place this home back on the market.

There is a very good chance the realtor will release you from the contract if you want to go this route. You won't know until you ask. Do it very nicely and without accusation or explanation, IMO.

A $200K buyer with a cessna. Now that's odd.

Is this about the buyer or the realtor? Personally I wouldn't care what the buyer did as long as they bought my house . I would prefer not to be there to answer any questions, however, if I didn't have anything to do and was bored than I would. However, it seems like you have more of a problem with your realtor.

Courage

Tough love her but I am beginning to think you agonize, expect, demand so much that you might want to look inward a bit.

No, not odd.. they have no kids.
They are early 60 y/o couple, and their home is paid for..
they wanted to buy this one to live in because it is HGTV updated and has the
four acres for their dogs.. and they wanted to keep their home to gut ant make-over.
They were very inspired.

Selling a house in business, not personal. The sooner you get over that the happier you will be.

Well ..it is what it is.

Your realtor allowed this BEFORE these people ever made an offer? Appalling. I hope you terminated the contract w/ your realtor. That's blatant incompetence.

Yes .. they burnt us out.

Please understand.. I know you just want me to "behave like a good home seller"
It became personal because this all just deflated our spirit to the point of indifference.

I just re-read.. and I'd like to retract from the word personal

instead use the word: exhausting
