The pictures are just unbelievable. One is actually a picture of a wall that says "Welcome to the Slaughterhouse". And one is of a light fixture with the word "F**K" written on it in black marker. I kid you not. The rest are just as unbelieveable.
Gotta admit it is different. Did someone sabotage the listing? Is the agent just trying to be realistic? It seems like the text part of the description could have reflected this. Weird.
I think the last one is a an action shot of them smashing the light fixture. I have no idea if it is sabatoged, but I like how it says "A must see to appreciate 2-story detached and house with a pool. Formal living and dining rooms. Gated pool with a separate pool house/changing room".
I know!!! haha!!! For that price too??? They should be giving it away. The last photo looks like an action shot of them smashing the light fixture. I don't get it.
It looks like its got offers - the counterpoint would be walking into that house without knowing what to expect. Much of the damage is not very expensive to fix.
But why would an agent post this? And then have a nice description. And the house is a disaster. it would need to be gutted. Its full of mold and things growing in the living room. Not to mention all the damage. Its very expensive to fix and for $330,000? It should be free.
I can understand the photos as it's better to have buyers know the real condition of the house, but I would agree that the description doesn't really line up with the photos. I would have expected something along the lines of "needs work."
Iv' seen some things just like this before and because I'm an investor Iv' even walked through them. Iv' bought a few that are worse than what these pictures show. I always think pictures like this are about honesty in disclosure. Without knowing enough about the market there I can't tell you if that is a good price or not. I forgot to check when I was looking at it, but I'm thinking this is an REO and sometimes people trash their own house if they know the bank is going to take it from them. This one does however look like there was a head start in doing that long before the bank filed for foreclosure. I thought the brief description accurate enough and no where did it lie.
