The only time I get feedback requests is when I show homes that are scheduled through a showing service. I always respond to those requests. In my area, if the listing agent doesn't use a showing service, I typically don't hear from them about feedback. I will reach out to them to follow up if something is wrong...like the keys are missing from the lock box, safety issues or other problems that prevent the property from being secured.

If you call and ask and my client did not like the place you may get a reasonable answer.

If my client hated the place with a passion we will probably lie to you.

If I hated the place with a passion I may not lie to you. Then again I may.

If my client loves the place and is dying to make an offer you are the last one I am going to tell that the client is remotely interested.

If it is his second or third choice we may indicate light interest so we get a call if you get a live one.

"Lie" in this context involves no untruths...merely carefully constructed misdirection that conceals whatever it is we actually intend to do...
