Does a long driveway up hill hurt the sale of a house? (properties, cost)

This driveway is up hill and the driveway is over 1500 or more feet long. Some concrete and black top and gravel. The driveway is located in Tennessee.

It sure doesn't help.

The people who want to be 1/4 mile back off the road and out of sight expect the distance...
but without any switchbacks or other common means to do the grade changes in parts
the hill will always be a greater maintenance problem than it needs to be.

It could be rather like a private road. I've seen some long driveways beautifully landscaped with occasional features along the way..including seating areas (although I don't know who's going to get out and sit a spell).

Couple of questions. First, who maintains it? Is it all the owner's? Or is there some dependence on the guy whose property it runs through and you'd just have an easement.

And is the end result worth it? What great thing is waiting at the top of the hill?

Top the hill is a 2000 sq ft double wide mobile home that is 15 years old. Here is a map of the property and green mark is the mobile home.

I guess it depends on what you are used to. To me that is the path to a serial killer, not a driveway.

Here's another picture of more of the driveway. When you drive up it you feel like your going up into the sky. I would say the mobile home is 300 feet above sea level.

How many other houses /properties have similar drives ?
In the NC mountains people would not be surprised by that..

Most houses around this property have curve driveways. This driveway is pretty much straight from main highway to mobile home. Property has been seen by 15 people already and no takers. Property cost went from 225,000 to 135,000 and been on the market for 6 months now.
