Zillow has a great tool where you can view the market conditions and also gives a previous one year change and forecast for the coming year for a specific neighborhood, as seen here.
On Zillow you have to find this information by searching for a specific neighborhood; there doesn't seem to be any way to view all neighborhoods of a specific city or county in order to easily see this information all on one page as opposed to searching one neighbhorhood at a time. I checked Trulia as well and didn't seem to find what I was looking for there either. Suggestions?

I'm fond of picking a number between 1 and 10. Multiplying that by 4,081.25 and then throwing a dart on a map and giving that property the resulting number.
It's not accurate for my area. However, I wonder if it's at least consistent... meaning that the percentage change from year to year is accurate, just not the base number.

I've been watching it for a while and it doesn't seem to be all that accurate even for the percentage change. I did some broad comparisons across a whole bunch of very different neighborhoods in the metro area and they were all within a few percent of one another even though different neighborhoods held value much better than others over the past decade. This is the first year were seeing a large and consistent # of resales above peak 2007 prices yet zillow is showing values have plunged nearly 10% since last summer. Something is off.
