Ugh, me too! I rented a house once and you would swear that either EVERYBODY was having a party every single night, or nobody knew how to use their driveways correctly! There were cars up and down the street on both sides (suburban neighborhood) 24/7! Considering the street was quite narrow, it was almost like driving through a gauntlet to get home!

I think I subconsciously made sure I never lived in a neighborhood like that again, even if it wasn't part of my conscious wishlist!

I personally hate small yards. And I'm not fond of white cupboards in the kitchen. I like older houses - my husband hates them. He also doesn't care for small garages - must have that work space.
This was an interesting thread. Just shows there are all kinds of tastes out there.
