can you explain why you had previously removed everything else EXCEPT the shower curtain? Just curious...especially since you really want the shower curtain.

I would want the shower curtain. Wouldn't close a sale unless you gave it to me as part of the contract

sheesh, not a troll. I would try much harder if I were trolling. This wasn't even my first post
I didn't take it out, because I think it's pretty and it made the bathroom look nicer. I also bought a new hand towel and soap dispenser in case anyone needed to actually make use of the bathroom. I'm probably the only one who's used them.

I also left it because long after I moved out, I was doing work on house and yard and took a shower after.

Make sure that there isn't an ape hiding behind the shower curtain. Then just take it--it's personal, used property. If the buyer complains, simply replace it as a goodwill gesture. A cheap shower curtain isn't significant enough to worry about ...or to let it complicate a sale.

The shower curtain is yours. If you want it, take it. End of story.

We took our shower curtain with us when we sold our house, along with a bathroom mirror that was hanging on a hook. The buyers pitched a fit and demanded we return them. I could understand someone assuming a bathroom mirror was attached when they viewed the house, but who in their right mind would want someone else's old shower curtain? Since they paid the asking price for the house, I did return them. Their combined value was about two dollars.

Funny. Besides the shower curtain, which I already mentioned, our sellers also took the hallway bathroom mirror. We had not realized it was hanging on a hook and so we were surprised to see it missing. We did, however, realize that it was not attached, therefore did not convey, and we did not contact the sellers about it. Truthfully I don't remember what it looked like anyway.

It was not a big deal to buy a new one, and our taste was different from theirs anyway.
