It would have to be really really awful for me to not at least look if in my price range and area
That picture is just a bad pic, most of these realtors do not take good photos..blurry, sun glare,
Pictures like first one don't attract people for sure. I found myself in situations when I had no need to look for a house with bad pictures. It amazes me why someone even took and post picture like that... On the other hand I hate panoramic pictures and all houses I visited in person disappointed me because everything was much smaller in real life.
Generally I pay good attention when I go through pictures. I can see damaged walls, wet spots, dirty carpet, so I might cross this house from my list and not to bother looking at it in person if I am not looking for something that needs these types of repairs.
It's a bad photo but you can still see that it seems to be a clean, well kept house that has a nice sliding glass door in the dining room. If it met my other criteria, I'd look.
Having said that, my house just went on the market today and I made sure to have decent photos. They aren't great - and that's despite being taken by a professional photographer, so there was a bit of a disappointment there. But they are certainly clear and in focus with no weird fisheye angles and convey a sense of what the home looks like.
If the house otherwise met my criteria, I would not be deterred by a bad photo.
