Why some people should never FSBO (offer, state, negotiate, buyer)

Your buying a house from them, not moving in with them to be room mates. Remember, its all about the house, not the people selling it.
Actually it is, if you have to deal with them, which you do on a FSBO. That's the whole point of this thread, I think (apologies to the OP if it's not).
They are taking out a whole chunk of population who wouldn't want to deal with them. I actually wonder how anyone could be so clueless and have a sneaking suspicion this is all an attempt to "go viral" and get some attention.
I like the photos, the dog and the home, highly amusing. It is tasteful and bright. I would be drawn to it assuming other lighthearted fun loving types lived in the area.
And to the person who sent me remarks in a reputation comment:
No, I'm not "mad" that complete strangers on a forum don't agree with me.
I'm just trying to convey that photos like these can have the same effect as, for instance, personal photos and mementos when selling a house. How many times have we been told to depersonalize a home for sale so the buyers can "see" themselves living there? That personal items can invoke negative feelings in a buyer? This is the same concept.
I agree with you. Putting yourself in the listing is obnoxious.
Anyone who posts photos online has to understand that what says "clever" to one person only says "full of yourself" to someone else.
I was expecting a dump then I linked and saw a very nice well maintained home. So the owners have a little fun. Nothing wrong with that. Really liked their taste in everything, including the dog!
Jeez, I'm 39 and I don't really care about that photo with the sellers in it, especially when everything else looks so good. Seeing people posting others homes for the sole purpose of Internet "point and laugh" is distasteful to me.

Yes, thank you.

The whole thing is just weird to me.
I think your suspicion is right, based on what I've discovered about the seller. I'm not even sure he's serious about selling. (The guy is the sole owner.) Based on his history, it could be a gimmick with an agenda.

Exactly. And "full of yourself" is precisely what those photos say to me.
Sorry, but even as a buyer, I never would have given those photos much thought. Either the house appealed or not - the fact someone was in the photos would not have mattered at all.
