we have a showing
I got a call this morning from a realtor that she has some people who want to see our home today great news but hubby annd I are so sick with whatever we caught in CA so we are moving in slow motion this morning getting the house ready. I hope these are the ones and I also hope that they do not have a motor home or boat a deal breaker if they do.We lost two good ones because of that. Fingers crossed. They must be serious since it is just so cold for anyone in FL to be out.

Wait. You lost TWO possible sales because they buyers had either a motor home or a boat that they couldn't keep at the house? What are the odds?
Are motor homes & boats so commonplace down there in your part of FL? Or was it just an odd thing that these two happened to both have one? And if it's not so odd, why does your home have any restriction on them?

Most of the new gated communities do not allow you to park things that size in your driveway. HOA in some of these does not allow your car to be in the driveway for more than 15 minutes. If you are in the city limit in many areas they are not allowed either.
RV's & boats are very popular down here.

Boats are more common and motor homes and campers less so.What gets me is they could put either or in our back yard since it is double gated and we have a big backyard and they would not be seen from the street but the CC&R's forbid them.

The first realtor came late with her person and as they got into the car to leave the others were arriving glad that happened. The first guy was looking alone and would bring back his wife. The second was a brother and sister (middle age) and he loved the house and the pool and the consevation area she was more closed mouth but when they were upstairs my husband said he heard him say great they have another full bathroom. She was happy we had a seperate dog area since she has three dogs also. They stayed for about half an hour. Don't know what is going to happen I am just glad that realtors are now seeing our home. They have other clients also.
