Looks like Opendoor has officially launched, but in only one market. Basically a flipper with a feel-good marketing pitch that some will be attracted to.
In a previous post a OD founder posted that they also own a real estate firm. Wonder how that will play out in terms of them being held to a higher standard when presenting offers based on their valuation model and terms.
Really nothing new. Suspect competition will follow.
I have seen an agent do something similar here, where they finance the renovation and take a fat cut
