Finally closed on house!
We signed the closing papers today! Our condo is SOLD and is no longer our headache!!! So much stress has been lifted off of our shoulders!
Original closing date Dec 28th. Buyer went through Country Wide (since been bought out by Bank of America) and had to resubmit paperwork which took 2 weeks to get through.
Our agent wouldn't call and tell us the date for the closing. We heard from the buyer's attorney. We should have fired our agent back in JULY!!!
Thankyou everyone for the advise that you gave! We are now renting but are in a lease to own option. Will probably purchase this house next year. Perfect for our family except for the fact that it needs some major updates! (built in 1958, structure is great just old kitchen and bathrooms!)
