Not many people dig those big post signs in the yards any more. What a pain. A whole industry of post makers and installers that petered out somewhat.
So, email her and her former broker and call her and her former broker (not everyone checks their email enough and yet you want proof you emailed her) and say since she did not remove the sign in spite of # calls and emails over # weeks ... you are forced to contact the local board of realtors and issue a complaint with the state licensing entity after noon. It's enough of a pain that someone should get that sign gone soon. If they say they can't do it so fast, you could tell them you can only wait till next day at noon.
The thing is it's good the condo association isn't fining you. Not all are that understanding.
I listed mine on craigslist. Free, you remove. It was gone very quickly.
Yeah, baybee!
"Free Stuff" on Craigslist is fantastic! And, easy-peasy.
This, however, is WAY too much work:

Ever see those dog-shaming photos, where the dog has a sign hanging arounds it's neck as it sits next to a mess?
Get a poster board. In big black letters, write: "Agent Has Refused To Come Pick Up Sign for Over 5 Weeks" Tack it next to the sign. Take a nice, clear picture.
Emal it to her. Post it on your Facebook page. Make sure you tag the agent on the photo. Post it on the firm's Facebook page, if you can. Post it on her new firm's Facebook page. Share it on her page! Post it on Craigslist! Tweet it! Don't get snippy or rude, just the facts: Have asked agent repeatedly to remove sign. Agent refuses. Calling in complaint to board of realtors tomorrow if it's not picked up.
Ultimately, though, the listing was probably with the real estate office, and not with the agent. The broker at her old office is ultimately responsible. I'm betting that at this point, the brokerage has probably broken a few rules about leaving up a sign too long. Call the local board of realtors and see what the rules are and how to report them. However, I'm betting you'll get a pretty quick response as soon as that sign starts getting shared on social media. :-)
The listing agent for my house (bought in 2002) had a nice metal-framed sign. After closing on the house, I called him repeatedly to remove it - he never did. I finally stored it in the garage thinking he'd eventually come and get it, but no. I've used the stand and frame in the intervening 13 years to hold posterboard signs for yard sales.
The one left at my place makes a great target holder for shooting. The commercial target frame got wrecked just catching one, but this thing can really take the hits.

They are the only signs used around here, with the exception of directionals. Pick up trucks loaded with post signs, along with the required post hole digger to minimize disruption of lawns criss-cross the DC area on a regular basis. Come election time, the real estate companies without their own in-house sign installers compete with politicians. Then it gets real fun.
