A quick Google shows lots of listings that say "Wshr/Dry HookUp Only" . Meaning of course that there are hookups for a washer and a dryer, but you provide the machines.
Or perhaps this place has a dryer vent, but no water for a washer ?
Great example of a really horrible real estate ad! Sounds like an inadequate laundry, with a dryer hookup only. You might have to put in the plumbing for the washer.
I've only heard that term in reference to appliance deliveries. For a clothes washer, it means the delivery guy will place it where it needs to be and plug in the electric outlet (if you want) but they're not allowed to hook up the water connections to the house for insurance/safety/liability issues.
I have no idea why a realtor would have that in a house's listing though. Can you give more context? Your two posts in this thread don't say much.
