I've never been a Rat Pack fan, so I'll pass on the house. It looks like a Dean Martin movie set.

It would be a shame to destroy it and I would have to completely redo everything, so I will leave it to someone who likes it.

I do think the house itself looks interesting and would be lovely with mid century modern reproduction furniture and appliances. Or maybe even Danish Modern furniture.

The worst thing about the house is that it is located in Palm Springs. No thank you.

Oh good catch. I was looking forward to throwing a Tiki party with rum drinks and rumaki when I moved in. Looks like I'll be switching to gin and tonics with mayonnaise-based hors d'oeuvres.

If I had to guess, this was originally owned by someone that had more than one house and just didn't spend enough time in this one to wear anything out. Geez. If I decided to not ruin it and move in how it is I would be trying really hard to wear everything out so I'd have an excuse to replace it.

Who decorated this place, the owner of the Bunny Ranch?

I wouldn't change it, but I dunno that I would want to live in it. The colors are just too distracting. I remember the green and blue carpet from when I was a kid (and that was late 70s, early 80s) and I never liked that stuff.

It's definitely retro-fabulous though!

And to go with your new Desert Dream Home, what could be better than this Nineteen Sixty Nine Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado, in alluring Wisteria? Even under the desert sun, you'll be cool as a cucumber, beneath your white vinyl top, while luxuriating amid your Cadillac's crisp white leather upholstery!

The pink/red room and the green striped wall paper were hideous but the home has some cool things going on.

Maybe rent it out as a movie set, but it would be nauseating to live there. The people have no taste at all. I built homes in 1969. They were nothing like that monstrosity.
