It must be an old widow (shrines to an old deceased man were everywhere) so I think this is a dont-want-to-leave situation.

Put in an offer on this instead (100k more but priced right). Just dealing with the back and forth now!
Oh goodness! I wanted to look at a house that looked crazy online (mostly dolls and stuffed animals) and my agent said it was a "don't want to leave" situation and when she showed the house to another person, it was packed worse then the photos. I opted not to go see it. I don't want to try to pry a house away from an old lady.

Glad you made that offer on the 2nd one - that first kitchen really was small and poorly laid out. I know it's such a cliche but it's true that the kitchen is the heart of the home. The one you are buying looks so much nicer!

The second house looks much, much, much nicer. The clutter and giraffe in the first one were distracting but the layout was odd. Love the microwave position in the new kitchen, not over the stove and not taking up counter space. Good luck with the back and forth!
