Closing in 2 days. We are the seller. Wife cannot make it that day and we do not want to move the date. Does she need to be present or can I as the husband take care of everything since we are married?
Easy, just have wife execute a Power of Attorney. In Georgia, the POA has to be filed with the recorded deed/security instrument, so it may be a bit different where you are. Talk to your attorney/closing agent TOMORROW FIRST THING so that they can provide the correct POA form, specific to this real estate transaction, and your wife can have it executed and notarized. In Georgia, you must have the original POA with original signatures and notary stamp at closing, they can't use a photocopy. So if you're closing in 2 days, you don't have much time to get all this done.
It's late to ask. You posted Saturday, Sunday is not a business day and you close on Monday. Had you had more time I would have found out if she could have pre signed her parts of necessary paperwork ahead of time. If the wife has a legit reason that there is no way she can be there perhaps the Realtor will think of options for you, I would say the lender too, but they may not even answer emails on Sunday.

Power of attorney or having a mobile notary or the closer go to where your wife is. The latter may or ma not cost you a couple of hundred dollars, depending on where your wife is (in town or out). But you are cutting it so close that you may have to extend the closing date - did you not know that the closing was going to be on Monday? Usually (here, at least) that is in the original contract. Did an actual emergency happen on Saturday that means she can't be there on Monday? "Can't make it" sounds like an awfully casual way to think of this, especially when you're going to be making the title company and other people have to deal with it on an emergency basis.
Just noticed this from your other thread, OP, posted on Friday. Is this a different condo?
"The condo sale took a very long time due to buyers/condo association missing paperwork/etc. The sellers of the house we are buying became impatient and started legal action saying if we dont get a closing date soon they are moving forward to keep the deposit of $20k. Well we closed on our condo this week and are ready to close on the house anytime the sellers want but they now are saying they incurred losses and demand to keep $5k of the deposit."
