My home was just listed a few days ago .
I can see on zillow ( owners view ) it looked like it's getting a ton of views . Many times more than other similar listings .
Just in the last 2 days there's been 1100 views supposedly.. sounds like a lot .
Are these actual people looking at the listing ?

If this is just through zillow I'm guessing with redfin trulia etc it would be thousands more total

I also noticed my home is a "hot home " on redfin so I'm guessing this means a lot of people are viewing it on there too .

Views mean nothing. On the plus side, all of those lookie-loos are doing their browsing online and not actually coming to your house.

Yeah I hear you , only thing that matters is legit offers from buyers .

The home is actually vacant now but I could see it being annoying having people come to the house if I was living there .
I had thought of having a camera so I could see who was coming to the house but I already canceled the internet there and I might end up spending too much time looking at it.

It tells you on most of the sites if the click thru all the details. I don't think Zillow does, do they?

Mine is listed too. I havent gotten as many views as your's, but i do notice that many people "view," but then don't go and click thru all of the photos. It's interesting.

My Realtor sends me the viewings from Realtor.com, Zillow, Trulia, and one other - can't remember right now.

How close is your estimate on Redfin to what you are asking?

I also wonder what constitutes a view. Does it mean it comes up in a search? Does it mean someone clicks on view details? Does it mean they click on the first picture to enlarge it? Anyone know??

Oh ok , yeah I've mostly just seen the stats from Zillow.
I didn't look too much at the other sites yet.

Regarding my list price versus Redfin estimate, my redfin estimate is about $17,000 over list price.

On Zillow my zestimate is close to the same..but then just the other day it was way higher like $40,000 difference or something.

I actually interviewed a redfin agent to sell my home, and I was pretty surprised by how low his suggested list price was. At the price he recommended I could of easily just sold the house myself probably to a cash buyer for that price.

My house is on a busy street so that plays into the valuation a bit. On the same street and same neighborhood there aren't really recent comps.

By the time my last home sold I had listed, it only had about 95 views total.

I don't care how many people look at it. I only cared if I got an offer.

I only got one showing off Zillow.

You are like my patients "googling" their symptoms. Step away from your computer. The only thing that matters is a SIGNED OFFER.
