Some great suggestions! Tanks everyone. sorry it took me a week to get back to this, but I've been so busy that I've barely had time to look at the internet until now. But, we closed, we moved in, and we got most of the work completed. Finally we're able to take a breath and start enjoying our new town. There were a few last minute glitches on closing day, but soon enough they'll be forgotten. I want to thank everyone who gave me helpful advice along the way.

The one funny thing is my house is still listed as "pending" on the MLS. Guess the seller's realtor handles updates? It's no big deal, just funny to see.

Piney Creek, I'm glad you finally closed and moved into your new home. Enjoy! Personally I hope I can manage to die right here in my quirky old home - I don't think I have either the energy or the temperament to sell and move again.

Thanks! I can totally relate. Here's hoping this is the last move for us, too.

Yeah, it's usually a little behind. Nothing to worry about though.
