Imagine walking around that house at night. Trip and fall, never to be seen again, or get taken out by a mannequin.

The listing history is mighty interesting. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/4...27548487_zpid/

I'm thinking that the dummie is the seller.

LOL, that is what I was thinking - the packing up to vacate will take them forever. Holy crap.

As outrageously bizarre as this place seems, it looks like a nice, 7400 sq ft home ... underneath all the clutter. Since it has apparently been for sale about 5-years, during which time the price has jumped from an appraised value of $144 per sq. ft. to a sale price of $177 per sq. ft. --- one might 'smell' a potential bargain that will otherwise remain on the market indefinitely.

If one wanted the house and neighborhood (and barring any major repairs), one might offer $850K (?) with a clause that the offer will decline $5K per month ...for every month it remained on the market. It could be a profitable 'flip' for a less eccentric seller.

Thoughts:

1. Looks like a Hoarder to me.

2. Owners attempt to "liven" the place with mannequins, to show you livable space.

3. Living near a creek is Hell. I do and the mosquitos are awful.

4. If you did buy it, it would take 3 years to get all his junk...I mean art... out of there.

Amazing. Each time I look I see another interesting thing that I missed before. Love that family portrait in the kitchen, but I'm kinda disappointed there's not a mannequin in the pool pic. So many possibilities!

I am wondering if the owners are really interested in selling or if the listing is performance art? In any case, thanks for posting.

It looks like the "after" photos of a not-so-successful episode of "Hoarders" ("this was the best we could do in the time available.")

But, it's a mcmansion, so you can't expect whatever residents it's had to have a shred of taste.

The home itself looks like it would be rather lovely once you remove all the clutter.
God.. what a disaster though.

The home, at least what could be seen, looks nice. With all that crap, it would be impossible to tell if there were a hundred holes in the walls. If most of the home was occupied with display work, there's also no telling if the building systems are actually working.

If an insurer could be found that was crazy enough to insure the art, seller should seriously consider a sell by fire accident. I mean, where are they going to put all of that?

A buyer could just get a dumpster and a dozen workers, and empty the place out.

My problem with the house is that there isn't a house on earth, that is worth that much to me. I would want a much, much smaller and less expensive home, preferably single story.

Oh right! I forgot, I already have the perfect house for me. Maybe this could be somebody else's "Dream Home".

Wow!

I couldn't live in that house, but I agree that the little bits of house that show behind, under and above all that art, are very nice.
