I like the sprinkler and the dog idea. Although I was going to suggest a Rottweiler. Someone over in the Garden forum once said they put up a sign saying, "Caution: Mother skunk protecting her babies in this yard. Enter at your own risk". (I am paraphrasing.) That solved the problem of people coming into the yard and stealing plants. Could work for you, too. Good luck; I hope you go to closing fast!
Take it off the market. Sounds like u can sell no matter what happens. Unlist it
Their MLS probably wouldn't allow that, since many MLS require a listing agent to post all homes for sale. Especially since it's already been listed AND will be under contract.
My buyer is from Queens, and they pour in from Queens and Brooklyn onto Long Island for home buying tours. I'm frankly shocked at how little some of them know about the process.
They think they can hit the road, knock on doors and receive tours of homes for sale without an appointment. Or they can just visit a private house, walk around the property and take pictures.
A few times they demanded to come inside, telling me they drove in from Ridgewood or wherever and would like to be accommodated today because they went through some trouble.
