This one is the better buy. With renovation costs on the first one, you will come in well over the list price of this one. This one looks turn-key and has way more curb appeal. And it has the character the other one will never have. Just my 2 cents.

Imo your wrong.. a 100k remodel would have that "Munter" leagues ahead of that house

It certainly does look ready for occupancy....

I'm clueless to prices outside my areas...

If this home was in SF my bet is about 1.2M

Was the house across the street rehabbed or new construction? If it's new, then Pittsburgh will probably allow a narrow lot new house in an area of houses of similar size.

You are sadly mistaken if you think you can fix 183 up for 100K. ESPECIALLY on a 203k loan. MAYBE if you could DIY it. Maybe. But a 203k? Double it. And then add some more.

If your goal is to turn 183 into this and sell for a profit, you are lacking 1000 square feet. (Per county records it has 1,264 square feet.) And a garage. And the balconies with a view. So... good luck with that.

it's under contract... are you the Buyer?

and don't have a better idea what it will cost in the end?

If the $100K figure you threw out gets done - what's the house worth then?
