A couple of thoughts:

I do not know who the selling realtor was and never met them. On ebay, replacement, programmable GE Supra Iboxes only run about $25. A local realtor said they might be able to open the key box with a Realtor (proprietary) phone App, but, cannot unshackle the device -- plus, I would not be able to re-use the box on my own. I had a realtor open one of their boxes so I could see the composition of the metal ... it looks like case hardened steel and probably very difficult to cut.

It's been here for 6-years, so I guess I can continue to live with it ... unless someone has a better solution.

Remove the railing from the balcony and reattach it.

Is this thing going to even work after 6 years? What kind of batteries do They Use? If they use the long life lithium non rechargeable ones like in wireless alarm devices, you have a chance, but still a crapshoot IMO.

Yes, these devices have batteries that need to be charged at some point. I imagine there must be special key to unlock dead Supra Key lock boxes probably owned by the local MLS.

call mps and give serial number. Tell them you will be cutting off in 3 days if not removed. Use bolt cutters or saw all, or call locksmith to cut off.
