but they do have the same furniture! Same building, different units.

I guess the listing agent figured it was cheap enough to move the furniture from one unit to the other for the photos?

They may be digitally staged and look to be to me.

Not to pick at details, but I don't get the wrinkled animal-skin type rug. Looks untidy... but worse... it like a tripping hazard right next to a lot of sharp corners and big sheets of glass.

I don't think Unit 314 is staged at all. It looks like the listing agent used some old photos from a different staged unit and presents it as Unit 314.

That unit has carpet in the living room. The staged photo has hardwood floor and a side window that doesn't exist in the empty living room photo. Either this condo has two living rooms or the staged photo is not the actual unit.

.

Yeah, I think you are right. I had noticed the carpeted living room in 314, which contradicted the staged photo but hadn't made that leap to realizing it was an entirely different unit.

You can also see that when you look out the window - the staged photo has the bricks in the background (from the Unit 112 first floor patio) but 314 actually has a balcony with that metal wire railing.

I guess they are similar enough that the broker thought seeing it staged was a good enough reason to put photos of a different unit in there?

they're in the same building and sound like the same floorplan. and it seems to be new construction. If they show different views, then there's nothing wrong it seems to me with having duplicate photos for some other staged rooms.

You'd think it was new construction from the listing description but nope, it's over 10 years old. However, it does appear that the staged room is from the model and is the same room in both listings.

There's something odd going on anyway, because a couple of different LLCs with the same address (not that building own or have recently sold many of the units. So who knows about all of that. I'm not looking to buy, I was just checking out the listings in my general neighborhood as I do on a regular basis and noticed the similarity of the photos.

Looks like left and right versions of the same basic floor plan.
Typically, a common wall is used for plumbing. Kitchens are usually are back-to-back. Baths are back to back.
