When Craigslist attacks!
Evidently, if you post it on Craiglist....it must be true....and legal.
Seems they posted that this guy had to "leave in a hurry" and his "house and all his possessions" were "free for the taking."
Interestingly horrible way to screw someone. Pretty damn cowardly, too. Remember when people would use fisticuffs to settle personal problems? I know, the article doesn't say it, but you just know this dude ****ed off someone.

I seem to have heard about this happening to another lady in Tacoma, too.

People can be jerks. I hope they catch the person responsible and charge him/her with a felony. I hope they were stupid enough not to hide his tracks.

Yes...not to mention the jerks who walked onto the property and started taking things when there was obviously no one home.....and also failed to stop when the owner did show up. Isn't it legal to shoot looters?

In many places yes. Don't know the particulars of the state in question though. Regardless, I carry all the time, so I can say with certainty those people would not have been able to run off with my stuff had I been in that situation. Another reason for me to carry but what a bizarre one. Someone can just post an ad and soon everyone's grabbing your stuff.

I haven't heard of this, but I have heard of something a lot more sinister.
A woman was her house alone when the doorbell rang. She opened the door and there was a man she did not know. He proceeded to introduce himself and acted like he knew a little about her.
Well, he then asked her a question that floored her. He was there to fulfill one of her sexual fantasies - to be raped violently. However, he wanted to be a nice guy and verify with her that this is indeed what she wanted.
Needless to say, she did not know what to say, especially since the guy knew her name and where she lived. After asking a few questions, it turned out that someone posed as her on a sexual fetish website and stated that she liked to be 'raped'.
Luckily for her the first person to respond was actually a decent person and checked with her in person. If someone else had responded, she never would have known that she had been set-up. Instead she would have been raped.
Turns out that it was her ex-husband that posted online as her and was 'getting back at her'

There are a lot of sick TV shows too. I can't understand why people watch them. They get worse and worse...always trying to push the envelope. Seems morals don't come into play anymore...sad.
